Milieux Interior Design believes that connection to your home is not about its value or location, but is built around the people, objects and memories that have been chosen to fill it. These things are at the heart of a home and a key focus when creating an interior with which people connect. Echoing this belief, the word “milieux” is derived from old French and translates as “the centre of the environment”

Milieux Interior Design was established by interior designer Marie Partridge. Her philosophy is that a home evolves over time but should always be a place where you can be yourself, relax alone or with family and friends and which forms a truly individual sanctuary from the outside world whilst reflecting the character and personality of those who live there.

Marie migrated from the UK in 2000 and has a long standing passion for interiors and design. She is qualified with a Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration and her creative talent is supported by an extensive and professional business acumen including project and budget management skills.

More recently Marie has rekindled an interest in ceramics using both wheel throwing and hand building techniques to produce a range of serving boards and unique hanging planters. She also tackles extreme knitting projects making beautiful 100% merino wool chunky blankets and throws. You can see some of her work in the gallery pages.
